Dual Arm Crossguide Waveguide Couplers

Narda-MITEQ manufactures dual arm waveguide crossguide directional couplers covering a wide frequency range in either brass or aluminum. 

This dual arm cross guide directional coupler covers the full waveguide frequency and is available in either aluminum or copper/brass construction. Single arm cross guide couplers are also available.

Models are available with standard coupling of 30db, 40db or 50db, however other options are available upon request. Pressure sealed dual arm cross guide directional couplers are also available for microwave applications that require sealed systems.

Multiple flange and Coaxial connector types and configurations are available. For more information feel free to call us and discuss your needs with one of our design engineers.

TYPICAL SPECIFICATIONS
DUAL ARM CROSSGUIDE DIRECTIONAL COUPLERS
  • Full waveguide frequency range
  • Single Arm model also available
  • Available in Aluminum or Copper/Brass
  • Narda-MITEQ's 300 series typically handles the full guide rating.  All other series typically handle the guide rating in the forward direction.
  • Coupling: 30, 40, or 50dB (other values available, consult factory for details)
  • Internal termination rated at 2 watts.  In the reverse direction or when used as an injector the internal termination shouldn't see more than 2 watts CW

Frequency Sensitivity: +/- 1.00dB max.
Directivity: 16dB min., 20dB typical
VSWR  Waveguide: 1.05 max.  Coax: 1.25 max.

Connectors: Stainless Steel
Finish: Unique corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel epoxy coating IAW MIL-F-14072

Standard models have a coupling configuration of: Forward Coupling at the Coax port on arm 1 (see diagram above) and Reverse coupling at the Coax port on arm 2.  However, These models can easily be altered to accommodate your needs by using the Model # code system to the left.

Option: Add /PT to part number for pressure sealed unit to 15 psi.
